Revox PR99 reel-to-reel tape recorder

Professional audio digitization

From analogue to digital with the highest fidelity

Videoconversion Digital Lab digitizes cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes and vinyl using sound preservation protocols proven in large institutional projects, such as the archive of 16,000 reel-to-reel tapes digitized for UNED and Radio Nacional de España. That experience with historical archives gives every private customer the same professional treatment of their recordings.

Our lab has playback equipment calibrated for each analogue audio format. From home cassettes to professional reel-to-reel tapes, each medium needs specific handling to get the best possible quality.

The process includes head cleaning, speed and equalization adjustment, high-resolution capture and digital processing. The result: audio files faithful to the original, ready to listen to, edit or archive.

For institutional projects we offer additional services: automatic AI transcription, metadata extraction, cataloguing and storage on document platforms, so information can be searched across thousands of hours of audio.
